Laro Leathers are pleased to announce our sponsorship association with the Motorcycle Road Race Development Association. (MRRDA). The MRRDA is a not for profit group working in partnership with its sponsors and partner clubs to host a 5 Round Australian National Road Race series aimed at development of motorbike racing and junior racers. The classes for 2007 will be Junior’s on Honda CBR150s, 125GP, 250GP, 250 Production and Formula 400. Paul Edwards chairman of MRRDA and his team are working hard with partner clubs and a whole host of sponsors to really fire this competition up. MRRDA have recently announced major support from Australian Motorcycle News magazine which will provide coverage for the series. Laro Leathers sponsorship towards this fantastic series, includes a total of $1000 worth of Laro Leathers apparel* for championship places in both the 250GP and 250 Production classes of this series. We proudly support what we believe is the future of Australian motorcycle racing. Anybody who has competed in racing knows the financial burden involved with the sport. So when the team at Laro Leathers heard about the opportunity to help back this championship we were quick and responsive to get on board. Additionally we’d like to offer discounted prices on our Laro Leathers racing range for riders competing in this series. The 2007 Australian Motorcycles NEWS MRRDA National Race Series kicks off at Oran Park on March 31st before moving on to Winton in May. After visits to Queensland Raceway in July and Wakefield in August, the series final will be held at Phillip Island on October.
